St. Cadoc’s Church, Llangattock Lingoed – 15th century wall painting of St. George and the dragon. Lime based fresco secco painting. A project funded by the HLF. Uncovering of a life size wall painting of St George and the dragon. Multiple paint and plaster layers that covered the painting were carefully removed. Grouting and plaster repairs were also necessary to secure the plaster support.
