Knill Monument, St Ives, Cornwall
This project, supported by the World Monuments Fund, involved the conservation, repair, repainting and gilding of the Coade stone coat of arms mounted on the granite obelisk of the Knill monument.
Architectural Stonework
We undertake stone cleaning and repair work to architectural elements such as vaulting and stone window tracery. Work may include poultice and steam cleaning, re-pointing, lime mortar repair and stone replacement. We approach these projects from the angle of retaining as much of the original material as possible.
